How to get this easy bun for long hair:

Step 1

Brush out a 2-inch-wide section of bangs and secure with two bobby pins. 2nd step

Now you end up with a strand of hair on each ear. Slick this section of hair into a low ponytail behind your left ear, then twist the pony twice towards the back of your head. Hold your left index and middle fingers under the bobby pins in step 2 and wrap a messy 1-inch section of hair around your fingers to create a coil.

The Easy Updo You Can Do Yourself In Two Minutes Flat

While I love a good multi-step skincare routine, when it comes to my hair, I want it to be quick and easy. Especially for my day-to-day look, I often choose to forgo an hour spent drying and curling in favor of something a little easier and a little less "done". Which often results in a messy bun on top of my head or a ponytail as an afterthought. However, looking a little more together doesn't take much extra effort. First, add a texture spray to the hair. This style has a bit more volume and texture when you start with curly or wavy hair, but just about any texture will work! Twist a little when putting it in place to help the hair tuck well into the pony and add extra volume. Pull the hair over the top of the small loop and wrap it underneath. I just like to store it in my ponytail holder for an easy, minimal and simple update, but feel free to use bobby pins to secure if that feels easier.
